2PJ is my artistic name and painting has always been my essential language. My early years were devoted to Impressionism, exploring light, landscape, and atmosphere as spaces of sensitivity and observation. I am largely self-taught, having learned in an altruistic and independent way - guided by curiosity, discipline, and inner necessity rather than formal structures. Each canvas became a way of connecting with what I saw and what I felt.

After years of living in Barcelona, I chose to change direction and move to Palamós, on the Costa Brava (Empordà). There, I found open horizons and Mediterranean light - and within them, a space to rediscover myself. Solitude became a time of reflection and creative freedom, a territory where I could truly listen to my own voice and allow painting to speak with authenticity.

This personal reconnection also marked a turning point in my artistic language. I left figuration behind to explore abstraction, where color, texture, and material translate emotions and lived experience into visual form. Each work emerges from decisive moments: introspection, transformation, and affirmation. My painting became a field of energy, harmony, and presence, where life expresses itself through gesture and layered color. They are conceived not merely to decorate a wall, but to inhabit space - to breath within it, to enter into diaologue with architecture and atmosphere, and to quietly transform the environments they occupy.

Today, my work reflects the maturity of vision and the authenticity that only experience can bring. Moments of reflection and and solitude, along with joy, far from being empty silences, have become sources of inspiration and strength. Painting is my way of living fully - a space where freedom, emotion, and evolution meet in every stroke.

Each piece is an invitation to enter this territory of transformation and authenticity. Color, gesture, and texture tells stories of life, resilience, and joy, revealing the energy that arises when one looks and creates from conscious experience.
